eRepublik has just added client-side error tracking. Every page effectively has some JavaScript that observes errors caused by any code on the page (usually uncaught exceptions) and sends its findings to errorception.com. Unfortunately, that means if my browser extension messes up and leaks some sensitive data through an exception, the data can get intercepted. How do I disable error tracking without disabling JavaScript altogether?

Regardless, eRep is not as professional as can be, so even with it leaked, hmm...I doubt the consequences will be present. =P

They might notice that the error couldn't possibly have come from their code, because it always reports "line 1" or some illogical location. I don't expect anyone to notice or take action, but what could happen if they intercept something more interesting?

Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL (eRep page) from frame with URL (something hinting that user is up to no good). Domains, protocols and ports must match.

If the developers have never seen it, it will definitely stand out. The whole point of errorception is to catch errors like these.

Admittedly, there's almost no risk of leaking something truly suspicious. The deeper issue is that such an error tracking mechanism snoops information from my code without permission.
