Re: Utopia game
I don't mind joining in, as long as it doesn't take too long to grasp the game

Re: Utopia game
Minor research suggests that ownership has changed and is far different than the gameplay we once played. =P
Still wouldn't hurt. Shall we?

Re: Utopia game
We need mages, thieves, and attackers. I shall stand on the forefront as [suicidal] attacker. Any takers on joining this, planning should proceed with a day or two tops. =P

Re: Utopia game
We'll work with what we have. Might as well do a round with whoever's willing so we can get back into the vibes of doing so.
I'll be either pure A, maybe a side of M because i'm ballin' like that. =P
Edit -- That said, Jason can be M then.

Kevin (and other joiners), do make an account before the date and prepare accordingly! I'll be issuing out some stuff for us to survive this game, it'll be rough. =w=

Re: Utopia game
Sorry for the doublepost, but the game has started, so login and let us know what race/personality you choose and the kingdom. We'll organize into grouping up from here.

Re: Utopia game
We generally keep it to low-activity browser games which don't demand a lot of activity (and by that extent, doesn't usually require fancy graphics).
If you mean things more along RTS or MMOs, I've really avoided doing those now. I'm limiting to mainly board games and just meeting people in general. Hell, when someone throws a good series to watch, I'm willing to check it out too. =)

Re: Utopia game
A lot of the good graphics games don't require a lot of activitiy either. I am not talking about stuff like Runescape.

Re: Utopia game
Most browser games do not require high activity. It's the reason why they are browser based, so people can do something meanwhile they are checking emails or watching youtube in a given day. It is their niche. Of course there are exceptions like runescape, however the general trend remains the same. Hence the reasoning about good graphics -> lots of activity isn't sound. Text based games like Utopia on browser has fallen off its trend for a while now. Many games like Age of Empire Online, Heroes Online, Stronghold Online are similar strategy games and also do not require huge activity, albiet has better graphics.
Btw Minecraft is not a browser game.
Sorry for being picky, I am a tech person, tech trend is a big thing for my survival in this industry.

Re: Utopia game
I have a few. But I don't know if you guys like them. I'm also looking for a lightweight browser game to play with you guys, but I prefer some graphics.

Re: Utopia game
Wow, I had a circular sentence in there (low-activity which don't demand a lot of activity, whoops).
---
Worth discussion, though I wasn't intending on stepping on other's feets, metaphorically speaking.
Today's gamer trend is more about mobile apps and whatnot, the big bucks are now earned from game apps that are cheap, but sold in ridiculous amounts (see: Angry Birds). People can no longer afford taking time out for gaming now. That is where the trend goes.
Console gaming may actually be dying. If the console makers are thriving still, it's because of the ridiculous inflation in cost (especially at the starting price).
Finally, no, having good graphics does not mean it's a high activity [game]. Though the suggestion for Utopia was more of a nostalgic factor and on that note, I've played Stronghold Kingdoms and doubt this group would be turned off by it either, it would've been an okay choice.
Yar, let's go finding that lightweight game. Apps...are not a bad idea either. Any would do. =)

But still, nowadays mobile games are still a hit and miss (I mean just look at Zynga)

Re: Utopia game
Not a fan of mobile games either nor facebook apps....
Although console/pc games still have a good market. A lot of people do have the time to play them. I still play them just not as often as before.
